JAKARTA, DDTCNews – Perbanas Institute will hold a national taxation seminar titled Updates on Tax Policies in the Context of Revenue Optimisation on Tuesday, 16 September 2025.
The event is scheduled to take place from 07:30 to 12:20 Western Indonesian Time (Waktu Indonesia Barat/WIB in Indonesian) at the Auditorium, Unit 3 of Perbanas Institute Jakarta, and will be conducted in a hybrid format. The seminar is free of charge and open to students, lecturers, business practitioners and the general public.
The seminar will address a range of issues, including ongoing and planned tax reforms pursued by the government, challenges in implementing tax policies as well as recommendations from various stakeholders aimed at creating a more responsive and inclusive tax system.
At the event, Rector of Perbanas Institute and Chairperson of Division V of the Central Executive Board of the Association of Indonesian Economic Scholars (Ikatan Sarjana Ekonomi Indonesia/ISEI in Indonesian), Hermanto Siregar, is scheduled to deliver the opening remarks. Meanwhile, Vice Chairperson I of the IAI Tax Accountants Compartment, Pontas Pane, will deliver the keynote speech.
Perbanas Institute has also invited a number of panellists, including the Manager of DDTC Fiscal Research & Advisory, Denny Vissaro, Vice Managing Partner of PB Taxand, Didit Permana Adi Saputra, tax scholar, Permana Agung and Chairperson of the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association (Ikatan Konsultan Pajak Indonesia/IKPI in Indonesian), Vaudy Starworld.
The seminar also features Founder and Managing Partner of Tax Prime, Muhamad Fajar Putranto and Head of the Tax Group at BCA, Yuandri Martua Philip. An academic from Perbanas Institute, Tiolina Pardede, will serve as moderator, while the closing remarks will be delivered by Vice Chairperson of the Tax Academy, Edy Sukarno.
In addition to the seminar and panel discussions, the event will feature the launch and review of a tax guidebook authored by Saber L. Tobing. Participants will also receive an electronic certificate (e-certificate).
