DEPOK, DDTCNews – The Vocational Education Program of Universitas Indonesia will host the 2025 Tax Seminar and Workshop themed “Closing the Loopholes: Global Tax Reform and the Fate of Transfer Pricing” on Thursday (23/10/2025).
The event, which will take place at the Auditorium of the Vocational Education Program, University of Indonesia (UI), will feature tax practitioners as speakers, namely DDTC Consulting Manager, Riyhan Juli Asyir and Nendi Bahtiar. Ridzza Djumri will serve as the moderator.
Through this seminar, students and members of the public will be invited to explore recent developments in global tax reform and the future of transfer pricing, including their implications for the national tax system.
The seminar is open to the public and free of charge. Participants will have the opportunity to receive an e-certificate, door prizes and rewards for the best questions. The organising committee also provides e-wallet balances of up to IDR240,000 for selected participants.

On another note, in early 2025, Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to global standards by applying the global minimum tax (GMT). This policy, initiated by the G20 and the OECD, is outlined under MoF Reg. 136/2024.
The global minimum tax regime constitutes part of the implementation of the Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) framework. In essence, the GloBE regime is designed to achieve several objectives.
First, reducing profit shifting to low-tax jurisdictions. Second, curbing harmful tax competition based on effective tax rates that may undermine fair taxation. (rig)
