DDTC Academy dan Mondelez Gelar Training tentang Transfer Pricing

DDTC ACADEMY, in collaboration with PT Mondelez Indonesia Trading (Mondelez) Indonesia, conducted a capacity-building programme in the form of an in-house training (IHT) on various transfer pricing issues related to specific controlled transactions. The training was held on Thursday (11/12/2025) at Mondelez’s office in Jakarta.

The IHT was delivered by experienced transfer pricing professionals from DDTC Consulting, including the Manager of DDTC Consulting, Muhammad Putrawal Utama and Senior Specialist of DDTC Consulting, Andini Soraya.

Both speakers hold transfer pricing certifications from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), United Kingdom. In addition, in 2025, Putrawal was nominated as a Transfer Pricing Advisory Rising Star at the Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2025, organised by International Tax Review (ITR), United Kingdom.

Attended by 15 participants from the Mondelez Indonesia business group, the training was designed to enhance the capacity of the company’s human resources to respond to transfer pricing challenges in an adaptive and strategic manner.

During the session, the speakers comprehensively covered key transfer pricing issues. The discussion began with an introduction and general overview, followed by detailed explanations of tangible goods transactions as well as intra-group services within the transfer pricing framework.

The discussion then expanded to transfer pricing aspects related to intangible assets and financial transactions. These topics were presented to provide a more holistic understanding, enabling Mondelez to mitigate risks associated with transfer pricing in its business processes.

Participants showed strong enthusiasm, as reflected in the numerous inquiries raised during the session, resulting in dynamic and interactive discussions. This demonstrated the importance of preparing human resources to manage transfer pricing issues more effectively.

Through this training, participants gained both conceptual understanding and practical insights applicable to their business processes. The IHT is therefore expected to strengthen the company’s internal capabilities in ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations.

For those interested in organising similar training programs, requests for personalised training can be submitted through the DDTC Academy website. In addition to the IHT, the IHT-Advisory scheme is also available.

On another note, the IHT-Advisory scheme is specifically designed to provide training based on case studies relevant to the participating company. Through this approach, participants can gain insights directly applicable to their organization.

Training materials are developed based on advisory documents, making this scheme a fundamental first step in enabling companies to independently address tax challenges. The advisory outcomes can also be replicated for subsequent tax years.
