SINGAPORE, DDTCNews - A representative of educational institutions in Singapore, Darren Koh, expressed his appreciation for books published by DDTC, specifically the English version of the DDTC Indonesian Tax Manual 2024 (DDTC ITM) and the DDTC Indonesian Transfer Pricing Manual (DDTC ITPM).
In addition to serving as the Vice Dean and Head of Taxation Programme of the Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS), Darren Koh is also one of the Board of Directors Tax Academy of Singapore.
“Thank you, this is amazing! These resources are indeed helpful for us in understanding the context of Indonesian domestic taxes and transfer pricing provisions," said Darren after receiving the DDTC books, quoted on Friday (25/4/2025).
The appreciation was conveyed to the Lead of DDTC Academy Nehemia Daniel Sohilait in between sessions of the ITR Asia Tax Forum 2025 in Singapore. Representing the Founders of DDTC, Darussalam and Danny Septriadi, Daniel handed over the books to Darren.
Darren conveyed his appreciation, noting that as a tax consultant, DDTC consistently publishes books. He remarked that DDTC ITM 2024 and DDTC ITPM are beneficial for international parties seeking to understand Indonesian tax and transfer pricing regulations.
On the same occasion, Darren also expressed his appreciation for DDTC Academy’s active role in collaborating with a wide array of credible international institutions to organise training programmes. “It appears future institutional cooperation is imminent for us,” he added.
On another note, to date, DDTC has hosted approximately 260 classes with more than 15,000 alumni from 35 provinces in Indonesia and 7 other countries, including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland, India, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.
Stakeholders from diverse backgrounds attend DDTC Academy’s classes on a regular basis, ranging from taxpayers, policymakers, tax consultants, lecturers, students, NGO representatives, media crew, and other institutional representatives.
Since 2019, DDTC Academy has been the only institution in Indonesia trusted by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) to organise Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) exam preparation classes. As of now, 34 DDTC professionals have earned international certificates issued by the CIOT, with 17 of them successfully attaining the ADIT title.
DDTC Academy offers training programmes that integrate concepts, up-to-date information, in-depth insights into domestic and global taxation and practical applications. These programmes are designed to meet the needs of the public, various industries, government bodies, universities and other institutions.
The above embodies DDTC Academy’s vision to eliminate asymmetric information and provide access to quality tax education for all parties. (sap)
