FEB UI to Hold Workshop on Tax Case Competition

JAKARTA, DDTCNews - The Professional Accountant Studies Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Indonesia (Studi Profesionalisme Akuntan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Indonesia/SPA FEB UI in Indonesian) is set to organise a tax workshop.

Titled Ace the Case: Expert Playbooks for Tackling Tax Strategies, the workshop will be held on Wednesday (11/6/2025) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (Waktu Indonesia Barat/WIB in Indonesian). The event will be conducted online via the Zoom Meeting platform.

As part of the series of events under the 15th Tax Intercollegiate Forum (TIF), the workshop aims to provide participants with an initial understanding of case-based tax competitions. It is expected that participants will gain insight into competition mechanisms as well as the relevant skills and strategies required to compete effectively.

To explore these aspects, the workshop will feature two speakers who were involved as a competition winner and a judge at the 14th TIF Tax Case Competition.

First, the winner of the 14th TIF Tax Case Competition, Muhammad Fathi Umar, who will share his firsthand experience as a participant in last year’s tax case competition.

Second, judge of the 14th TIF Tax Case Competition and Head of Human Capital of DDTC Adinda Nur Larasati. During the workshop, Laras will offer an objective perspective on the key elements required to achieve success in tax case competitions.

Through this workshop, prospective participants are expected to be better equipped with relevant insights and strategies. The activity is also intended to enhance the quality of participation and foster a stronger competitive spirit among students in the field of taxation.
