The book entitled DDTC Indonesian Transfer Pricing Manual (DDTC ITPM) 2024. The 28th book that has been published by DDTC.
JAKARTA, DDTCNews - Sustaining the momentum of its 17th anniversary, DDTC released its 28th book today, Friday (22/11/2024). This new book is titled DDTC Indonesian Transfer Pricing Manual (DDTC ITPM) 2024.
DDTC ITPM constitutes an integral part of the book DDTC Indonesian Tax Manual (DDTC ITM) published in dual language this year. DDTC ITPM gives precedence to practical guidelines pertaining to transfer pricing. Download the PDF version of the DDTC ITPM book here.
The book, penned by the Founders of DDTC Darussalam and Danny Septriadi together with Tax Expert, CEO Office of DDTC Atika Ritmelina Marhani, is present as practical guidelines for stakeholders wishing to delve into and comprehend Indonesian transfer pricing provisions.
“In line with the dynamics of the tax regulatory landscape, the DDTC ITPM book is intended to facilitate the public to understand a wide array of regulations. Moreover, DDTC ITPM may serve as a reference for those wishing to master Indonesian transfer pricing provisions," claimed the authors.
Why is DDTC ITPM an integral part of the DDTC ITM book? Because DDTC ITM only provides an overview of Indonesian transfer pricing provisions. On the other hand, DDTC ITPM encompasses a more detailed review of all transfer pricing provisions, including its history from 1983 to 2024.
Compiled systematically, this book summarises the latest statutory tax provisions related to transfer pricing in Indonesia. This book discusses wide-ranging transfer-pricing-related aspects.
The review begins from the history or development of transfer pricing regulations in Indonesia. Next, the application of the arm's length principle is discussed. Further, this book elaborates transfer pricing methods.
Next, there is a review of the transfer pricing documentation. Audit provisions and transfer pricing adjustments are also thoroughly discussed, including the primary, secondary and corresponding adjustments.
The review on transfer pricing audit provisions not only may be used as guidelines for the tax authority, but also for taxpayers in preparing a transfer pricing analysis. This implies that this book may serve as guidelines for taxpayers to mitigate the risk of transfer pricing audits.
Finally, this book also analyses transfer pricing dispute resolution regulations. Specifically, this book outlines procedures and provisions on the Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP).
The DDTC ITPM book also epitomises the spirit of DDTC being recognised as the Indonesia Transfer Pricing Top Tier Firm by the International Tax Review (ITR), London, in 2019 to 2025 consecutively every year.
In 2021, DDTC was also conferred the Indonesia Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year at the ITR Asia-Pacific Tax Awards. DDTC was selected on account of its work in diverse complex and cross-jurisdictional transfer pricing projects.
To date, 29 DDTC’s tax professionals have passed the Transfer Pricing Paper certification in Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), UK. Since 2019, CIOT has also recognised DDTC Academy as the first and sole institution in Indonesia that offers ADIT - Transfer Pricing exam preparation.
DDTC ITPM is available in English. DDTC fully grasps that English, as the lingua franca of international business, allows practitioners to communicate, present issues and negotiate solutions sans language barriers.
DDTC ITPM is the concrete embodiment of DDTC's mission to eliminate asymmetric tax-related information, in particular, the transfer pricing aspect in Indonesia. This book comprises the latest updates to Indonesia's transfer pricing provisions as of October 2024.
This book is also connected to the Perpajakan DDTC platform to enable readers to conveniently browse the source of the provisions. The Perpajakan DDTC Platform provides access to 495 regulatory documents, 75 tax treaty documents, 180 newsletters and 50 tax guidelines in English.
On another note, with the publication of DDTC ITPM, DDTC has published 28 books. This constitutes the solid personification of the steadfast commitment to sharing knowledge. By the end of 2024, DDTC is expected to publish 30 books. As such, download the PDF version of the DDTC ITPM book here. (kaw)
