JAKARTA, DDTCNews – London, UK-based International Tax Review (ITR) has officially announced the commencement of the Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2025. Since their inception in 2005, the annual awards have served as a recognition of the accomplishments and achievements of tax firms and professionals across the Asia-Pacific region.
For this year's Asia-Pacific Tax Awards, ITR has once again classified the awards into 4 major groups, including Jurisdiction Awards (57 awards for 15 jurisdictions), Individual Awards (16 individual award categories), In-House Awards (9 categories) and Regional Awards (19 categories).
“This year’s list of winners will be revealed on the awards ceremony on 18 September 2025 at the Londoner, Leicester Square, London,” ITR writes in its official statement, quoted on Tuesday (8/7/2025).
Awardees are distinguished between advisory firms and law firms to accurately reflect market dynamics. Held since 2005, the ITR Asia-Pacific Tax Awards remain the highest form of achievement for tax professionals on the regional and world scale every year.
Marking 21 years of inception, the ITR aims to honour the achievements of all tax teams and practitioners in overseeing tax policies, transfer pricing, and tax disputes across 15 jurisdictions.
“The APAC ITR Awards acknowledge tax professionals and their practice achievements over the past 12 months,” ITR further notes in its statement.
At the ITR Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2025, DDTC has been nominated (shortlisted candidate) in 15 categories. Of these 15 categories, DDTC was recognised in 5 categories in the Regional Awards category at the Asia-Pacific level and 3 awards in the Jurisdiction Awards category.
Additionally, of the 15 categories, 7 fall under the Individual Awards category. Notably, in this Individual Awards category, the Founder of DDTC Darussalam has been nominated for Tax Practice Leader of the Year.
Last year, in the ITR Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2024, DDTC was shortlisted in 12 award categories. DDTC also secured the Asia-Pacific Pro Bono Firm of the Year at the Asia-Pacific level in 2024 and 2022, Indonesia Tax Dispute Firm of the Year (2024) and Indonesia Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year (2021).
