DDTC Professionals Attend AI for Tax Training at ITC Leiden

JAKARTA, DDTCNews – A total of 8 DDTC professionals attended a training programme organised by the International Tax Center Leiden (ITC Leiden), the Netherlands. The training focused on the utilisation of artificial intelligence (AI) in professional tax work.

The participation of these professionals forms part of DDTC's commitment to enhancing human resources capacity through the Human Resources Development Programme (HRDP).

The training is expected to support the efficiency and quality of DDTC professionals' work, particularly in document analysis, large-scale data processing and the development of tools that support professional tax work.

The online training programme was held over 3 days, on 18 August, 20 August and 21 August 2026. The training was delivered in 3 sessions, each lasting 2 hours and featuring practitioners proficient in using various AI tools in their day-to-day work.

The series of training sessions commenced on 18 August 2026 with a session entitled The Assistant: Claude and Claude Code. The session featured Roustam Vakhitov, an international tax adviser from the Academy of BEPS.

The material covered included an introduction to Claude Code and how to use AI to review transfer pricing documents and standardise the preparation of memoranda.

The second session, entitled The Volume Engine: Codex and Kimi, was held on 20 August 2026 and addressed the use of AI to process large volumes of tax documents and conduct cross-jurisdictional analysis. This session again featured Roustam Vakhitov.

The third session, entitled The Workbench: Cursor, held on 21 August 2026, addressed the use of AI to build a knowledge base and supporting tools for professional work without coding. This session was led by Founder & CEO of iown, Sergey Bezborodov.

The eight DDTC professionals who attended the AI consumption training at ITC Leiden were: Assistant Manager of DDTC Consulting Kania Dara Asti; Senior Specialist of DDTC Consulting Hafidh Nadhor T.; Senior Specialist of DDTC Consulting Lulu Thasya Syahida; Specialist of DDTC Consulting Tharique Nazhief.

Further, Specialist of DDTC Consulting Radityo Yughie N.; Specialist of DDTC Consulting Audreyda Farahbella; Specialist of DDTC Consulting Geysa Pratama Eriat; and Specialist of DDTC Consulting Marsha Medina.

Through its participation in this programme, DDTC reaffirms its commitment to the ongoing development of professional competencies, whilst ensuring preparedness to navigate an increasingly complex global tax landscape.

On another note, the HRDP is DDTC's competency development programme that provides its professionals with opportunities to participate in various education, training and certification programmes, both domestically and abroad. (rig)
