DDTC Academy, together with PT Henan Putihrai Asset Management (Henan Asset), held a capacity-building session in the form of an executive talk with DDTC on Thursday (2 April 2026). The event, which focused on tax aspects related to investment management, took place at Menara DDTC.
The speakers for the session were DDTC professionals with extensive experience in tax management, particularly in relation to investment decisions and asset management: Partner of DDTC Consulting, Yusuf Wangko Ngantung and Senior Manager of DDTC Consulting, Erika.
Attended by 8 participants from Henan Asset, the session was conducted through a case-based discussion approach. The discussion began with topics related to asset management and then developed dynamically based on participants’ questions.
The exchange of ideas was highly interactive, reflecting Henan Asset’s commitment to strengthening its human capital capacity in understanding the tax implications of investment and asset management.
Through the training, participants gained both conceptual understanding and practical insights. The executive talk with DDTC is expected to further enhance Henan Asset’s internal capability in managing investments and assets while ensuring compliance with applicable tax obligations.
For those interested in organising similar training programs with Henan Asset, requests for personalised training can be submitted through the DDTC Academy website. In addition to the executive talk with DDTC format, DDTC Academy also offers in-house training (IHT) and IHT-Advisory schemes, both of which merit consideration.
The IHT-Advisory scheme is specifically designed to provide training based on real case studies experienced by or relevant to the company. Through this approach, participants can gain insights that are directly applicable to their business context.
Training materials are developed based on advisory documents. This renders the scheme a foundational step in addressing tax challenges independently, as the advisory outputs can be replicated in subsequent tax years.
In addition, DDTC Academy is set to hold approximately 40 regular programmes in 2026. The full list of programmes is available in the DDTC Academy booklet titled Rooted, Growing & Trusted.
