Prabowo Expects Danantara Involved in Every KSSK Decision

JAKARTA, DDTCNews - President Prabowo Subianto wishes for the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Badan Pengelola Investasi/BPI Danantara in Indonesian) to be involved in every decision support system of the Committee for Financial System Stability (Komite Stabilitas Sistem Keuangan/KSSK in Indonesian).

BPI Danantara Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rosan Roeslani, stated that the directive aims to ensure that every KSSK policy not only takes into account fiscal and monetary aspects, but also delivers a direct impact on the economy and the business sector.

"The KSSK has been requested to involve Danantara in each of its decisions, enabling a direct impact on the economy and business, not only from the fiscal and monetary aspects," he said, as quoted on Tuesday (28/7/2026).

The directive to involve Danantara in KSSK decisions was conveyed by Prabowo when he convened KSSK members and Rosan at the Merdeka Palace. According to Rosan, the involvement of Danantara is intended to strengthen a more comprehensive approach to economic policy formulation.

"So it is more about the whole ecosystem. The direction is KSSK plus Danantara," he said.

Meanwhile, Acting Governor of Bank Indonesia, Destry Damayanti, stated that inter-agency coordination will continue to be strengthened, particularly in the formulation and implementation of interrelated policies.

She added that the KSSK also continues to support the implementation of government policies in line with the established direction.

"Of course we will collectively support this. The KSSK also supports the government in accordance with the policy direction that has indeed become the government's line," she said.

On another note, the KSSK constitutes an inter-authority coordination forum established pursuant to Law 9/2016 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Financial System Crises (Pencegahan dan Penanganan Krisis Sistem Keuangan/PPKSK in Indonesian). The Committee is tasked with maintaining financial system stability through coordination in the prevention or management of potential crises.

Pursuant to the provisions under the PPKSK Law, the KSSK comprises the Minister of Finance, as the coordinator concurrently serving as a member, the Governor of Bank Indonesia, the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK in Indonesian) and the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC or Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan/LPS in Indonesian).
