Deputy Minister of Finances Nurkholisoh Focuses on State Revenue
JAKARTA, DDTCNews - Nurkholisoh Ibnu Aman has stated that he will focus on state revenues and improving organisational effectiveness in carrying out his duties as deputy minister of finance.
Nurkholisoh said his focus on state revenue is in line with the assignment given by Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara.
"My assignment as deputy minister is to support the Minister of Finance [Suahasil], so I assist with his work and performance. There is a division of focus, and I have been given the focus on revenue," said Nurkholisoh, as quoted on Monday (12/10/2026).
His focus on improving organisational effectiveness is consistent with Nurkholisoh's background as a consultant with an education in industrial engineering.
"Previously, I was a management consultant. Consulting was my first job, which suited my first degree as an industrial engineer. Working in consulting with an industrial engineering background is about identifying opportunities for improvement," said Nurkholisoh.
Nurkholisoh said the ministry of finance [MoF] has many opportunities to improve its working methods and operational effectiveness through technology and innovation. "I have conveyed to members that they should never stop learning. The MoF, as an organisation, must continue to adapt, becoming a modern and effective organisation. The ultimate goal of all this is to enhance the credibility of the state budget," said Nurkholisoh.
On another note, 3 deputy ministers assist Suahasil in carrying out his duties, namely Nurkholisoh, Juda Agung and Luky Alfirman. Nurkholisoh will focus on state revenue ranging from tax to non-tax state revenues.
Meanwhile, Juda will focus more on the financial sector, international and financing issues. Luky, on the other hand, will handle matters relating to expenditure, treasury and transfers to regions (transfer ke daerah/TKD in Indonesian). (dik)
