DGT Launches GloBE Taxpayer Registration in Coretax
JAKARTA, DDTCNews — The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) has officially launched the GloBE taxpayer status addition feature on the coretax administration system.
This feature is required to fulfil the obligation of adding GloBE taxpayer status as set out in the Regulation of the Director General of Taxes Number PER-6/PJ/2026. In addition to adding GloBE taxpayer status, coretax also provides features for amending GloBE taxpayer data and revoking GloBE taxpayer status.
"All three may be implemented electronically through the taxpayer coretax portal," the DGT stated in the GloBE taxpayer registration user manual, as cited on Friday (4/9/2026).
To add the status, the taxpayer acting as the person in charge (PIC) must log in to the coretax account and then impersonate the corporate taxpayer.
After performing the said impersonation, the taxpayer must select the menu My Portal > Status Change > Addition of Status as a GloBE Taxpayer.
In the Addition of Status as a GloBE Taxpayer menu, the taxpayer must complete the required fields and then click Save.
Taxpayers that have successfully added their GloBE taxpayer status will automatically receive an electronic receipt (bukti penerimaan elektronik/BPE in Indonesian) as well as a notice confirming the addition of their GloBE taxpayer status from coretax.
Taxpayers with GloBE taxpayer status may also verify their status under the General Information menu and their type of tax obligation under the Tax Type menu.
It should be noted that the status addition must be implemented no later than 9 months after the end of the first year of GloBE imposition. Accordingly, if a group first falls within the scope of GloBE in 2025, the status addition must be completed this month, namely September 2026. (dik)
