JAKARTA, DDTCNews - The number of internationally certified tax professionals at DDTC continues to grow. Most recently, 2 DDTC professionals have passed the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) examination administered by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), United Kingdom.

Senior Specialist of DDTC Consulting Andini Soraya has passed the ADIT Paper 1 Principles of International Taxation examination. Previously, Andini had already passed the ADIT Paper 3 Transfer Pricing Option.

Meanwhile, Specialist of DDTC Consulting Maria Franzeska Kristiana has passed the ADIT Paper 3 Transfer Pricing Option examination. As a result, dozens of DDTC professionals are now internationally certified in the field of taxation.

With regard to the ADIT examination specifically, 21 DDTC professionals have passed Paper 1 Principles of International Taxation, 13 have passed Paper 2 Jurisdiction Options and 25 have passed Paper 3 Transfer Pricing Option.

Andini stated that she sat the ADIT to deepen her understanding of international taxation in a comprehensive and structured manner. As a transfer pricing professional, international tax and treaty principles play a pivotal role because many issues cannot be viewed solely from a domestic perspective.

“Passing ADIT Paper 1 marks a milestone in my professional journey. This achievement also motivates me to continue developing my competencies and to make an ever greater contribution in my work,” she said.

Andini also expressed appreciation for DDTC's support, which was invaluable throughout the process, ranging from the Human Resource Development Programme (HRDP) assisting with ADIT examination registration to the ADIT Preparation programme offered by DDTC Academy, which provided examination materials.

“Exposure to various projects and international tax issues at DDTC was also extremely helpful, as I was able to connect the materials with real-world practice and tangible challenges encountered at work,” she added.

Meanwhile, Maria explained that her decision to sit the ADIT examination was driven by a desire to test her competency in transfer pricing through a certification from one of the world's leading tax institutions.

“This achievement constitutes part of my efforts to develop my capacity as a tax professional. In addition, the ADIT certification can also add value to the services provided by DDTC,” she said.

Maria also expressed her gratitude for DDTC's support, including through the preparation class, namely the ADIT Preparation course, taught by experienced colleagues. She also conveyed her gratitude for the HRDP, which provided support during the examination registration process.

Having passed, she plans to pursue further tax certifications. In her view, certifications can add value to the services provided by DDTC, whilst encouraging her to continue making her best contribution at work.

As is well known, DDTC has a division, DDTC Academy, which provides high-standard international tax and transfer pricing training programmes. DDTC Academy is the sole CIOT-recommended provider of ADIT certification preparation training in Indonesia.

DDTC Academy has even set a record in the Museum Rekor - Dunia Indonesia (MURI) as the First provider of International Tax and Transfer Pricing Training, Recognised by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT-UK).

To date, 13 DDTC professionals have been awarded the ADIT qualification, namely Managing Partner of DDTC Consulting David Hamzah Damian, Senior Partner of DDTC Fiscal Research & Advisory B. Bawono Kristiaji and Partner of DDTC Consulting Yusuf Wangko Ngantung.

Also included are Senior Manager of DDTC Consulting Khisi Armaya Dhora, Senior Manager of DDTC Consulting Flouresya Lousha, Senior Manager of DDTC Consulting Riyhan Juli Asyir, and Senior Manager of DDTC Consulting Muhammad Putrawal Utama.

Through participation in the ADIT certification examination, DDTC reaffirms its commitment to continuously developing professional competencies on an ongoing basis, whilst ensuring readiness to navigate the increasingly complex dynamics of global taxation.

For reference, the HRDP is DDTC's competency development programme, which provides its professionals with opportunities to participate in various education, training and certification programmes, both domestically and overseas. (rig)
