DDTC Internship Programme Produces 250+ Talented Tax Alumni
JAKARTA, DDTCNews – More than 250 undergraduates and bachelor's graduates (fresh graduates) have completed the internship programme at DDTC Executive Internship Programme (DDTC EIP).
In the DDTC EIP, participants not only undertake an internship but also gain real work experience and a structured tax apprenticeship as well as assistance from DDTC professionals, the majority of whom hold taxation expertise certifications from leading institutions abroad.
DDTC Founder Darussalam stated that DDTC EIP forms part of DDTC's commitment to helping prepare a generation of competent, high-integrity tax professionals with a passion for continuous learning, i.e., professionals who will, in time, play an enduring role in shaping a better Indonesian tax system.
“An internship programme must be a space for learning. Participants not only become acquainted with the working world, but also have the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and professional character,” said Darussalam, who is also a prolific author of books of accounts and tax articles at both national and international levels.
As an institution recognised and appreciated internationally, DDTC brings those high standards of professionalism to the development process for young intern talent.
As part of the apprenticeship process, each DDTC EIP participant is provided with the book Konsep Dasar Pajak: Berdasarkan Perspektif Internasional as a compulsory handbook for all intern participants.

Throughout the programme, participants also receive assistance and feedback from DDTC professionals as well as access to the DDTC knowledge ecosystem, ranging from DDTC Academy, Perpajakan DDTC, DDTCNews through to DDTC Library.
The apprenticeship is not limited to technical aspects of taxation. Through Collaborative Discussions, participants develop a range of professional skills, including leadership, problem-solving, time management, career planning, effective communication and negotiation.
To participate in DDTC EIP, candidates must undergo a highly competitive selection process. This reflects DDTC's status as a preferred internship destination, generating considerable enthusiasm among prospective participants eager to intern at DDTC.
As a general illustration, in the one-year period between September 2025 and September 2026, 460 applicants sought to intern at DDTC. This figure represents nearly 40% of the total 1,200 applicants wishing to pursue a career at DDTC over the same one-year period.
The entry test stages include CV and administrative screening, an English language test, knowledge of DDTC, tax knowledge and an interview.
This internship programme also forms part of DDTC's collaboration with universities. To date, DDTC has established partnerships with 40 universities across Indonesia, encompassing internship and recruitment programmes as well as educational activities, workshops and research.
For participants, DDTC EIP can also serve as an initial gateway to continuing their journey as DDTC professionals. Intern alumni who demonstrate strong performance, competence and alignment with DDTC's values have the opportunity to pursue a career at DDTC.
