Satu-ProfKeu Has a Dedicated Module for Tax Consulting Firms

JAKARTA, DDTCNews - The Satu-ProfKeu platform is also equipped with a profile module and a permit module for tax consulting firms. This topic is among those reviewed in the national media today, Wednesday (28/10/2026).

To access both modules, service users must obtain a firm role on the Satu-ProfKeu platform. This role is automatically attached to the individual role held by the director of the tax consulting firm.

"The holder of a firm role may appoint an administrator on the Satu-ProfKeu platform to assist in the administration of the application to be submitted," reads the Director General of Financial Sector Stability and Development Circular Letter Number SE-6/SK/2026.

The firm profile module is a feature on the Satu-ProfKeu platform that can be used to view and manage firm profile information. This module can be accessed by users with a firm role and is granted automatically upon the issuance of a firm licence.

The firm profile module comprises several menus, namely firm data, partner structur, employee data, branch office list, supporting data, foreign cooperation and quality control system (QCS).

It should be noted that the firm permit module is used to apply for permit services relating to the establishment, development and discontinuation of activities of financial profession firms.

"Through this module (the firm permit module), users may apply for various types of permit services in accordance with their authority and role," wrote the Directorate of Financial Profession Supervision and Development (PPPK) in the Satu-ProfKeu user guide.

For information, the PPPK Directorate has launched the Satu-ProfKeu platform to transform the permit process, which had hitherto been fragmented across various platforms. With Satu-ProfKeu, all permit services are provided in an integrated manner through a single system.

All permit services for the tax consultant profession are provided exclusively through the Satu-ProfKeu platform with effect from 27 October 2026.

Licence applications submitted through channels other than Satu-ProfKeu from that date onwards will not be further processed and applicants will be required to resubmit their licence applications through Satu-ProfKeu.

In addition to the above topic, there is also a review of the progress on the unification of the tax court under the Supreme Court. Furthermore, there are discussions relating to under-invoicing, strategies for strengthening local tax revenues, beneficial ownership and other matters.

MoF Releases New Guide on the Use of Satu-ProfKeu

The Directorate of Financial Profession Guidance and Supervision (Direktorat Pembinaan dan Pengawasan Profesi Keuangan/DPPPK in Indonesian) of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has released a user guide for the Satu-ProfKeu platform. Tax consultants and other financial profession practitioners may download the Satu-ProfKeu user guide at this page.

The guide was prepared to assist financial profession practitioners, including tax consultants, in managing their profiles and utilising permit services through the latest platform.

"This user guide has been prepared to assist users in accessing the Satu-ProfKeu application, managing profiles, applying for permit and data change services as well as monitoring and following up on applications," explained the Directorate of PPPK in the guide. (DDTCNews)

Government: Under-Invoicing Should Be Classified as Corruption

President Prabowo Subianto is of the view that under-invoicing should also be classified as a corruption crime. This is because under-invoicing is an act that is detrimental to the national economy and should therefore be categorised as corruption.

Co-ordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, explained that law enforcement in respect of corruption crimes in Indonesia currently remains focused on acts that are detrimental to state finances and has yet to target acts that are detrimental to the national economy.

"In my view, harm to the national economy has yet to be sufficiently developed as a concept. So if someone engages in fish theft or under-invoicing in the mining sector, they are clearly causing harm to the national economy. That should also be included within the definition of corruption," he said. (DDTCNews/Bisnis Indonesia)

Bappenas: Local Tax Strategies Cannot Be Standardised

The central government and local governments may adopt varied strategies to increase the local tax ratio (LTR). This is because each province has distinct economic characteristics, tax bases and tax collection capacities.

A study by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas in collaboration with SKALA, entitled Analysis of Regional Local Tax Ratio Indicator Achievements, groups 38 provinces into 4 clusters based on a number of indicators, including LTR, economic structure, gross regional domestic product (GRDP) per capita and tax buoyancy. This grouping is intended to assist in formulating LTR improvement policies that are better suited to the conditions of each region.

"LTR improvement strategies should employ a differentiated approach so that interventions are not applied uniformly to all regions," reads the report Analysis of Regional Local Tax Ratio Indicator Achievements. (DDTCNews)

Tax Court Unification Under Supreme Court Still Being Harmonised

The government is still harmonising the presidential regulation related to the unification of the Tax Court under a single roof.

The presidential regulation is required to transfer the organisational, administrative and financial guidance of the Tax Court from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to the Supreme Court (SC or Mahkamah Agung/MA in Indonesian).

"This discussion forms an important part of preparing the regulatory foundation for changes to the governance of the Tax Court, particularly with regard to organisational, administrative and financial guidance, which will be transferred from the Ministry of Finance to the Supreme Court," explained the Supreme Court. 700,000 Business Entities Blocked for Beneficial Ownership

The Ministry of Law continues to block approximately 700,000 business entities and foundations that have not yet reported their ultimate beneficial owners (BO).

Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas, said this figure represents the remainder of nearly 2 million business entities and foundations that were blocked last year. To date, around 700,000 entities have still not fulfilled their beneficial ownership reporting obligation.

"BO is important for identifying the ultimate beneficial owner of a business entity, including its affiliates," he said. (DDTCNews)
