Back in Singapore, DDTC Professionals Explore IP, Valuation and Taxes
SINGAPORE, DDTCNews – DDTC professionals have returned to Singapore to attend a training programme organised by the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) International and the Tax Academy of Singapore.
Previously, DDTC had also sent a number of professionals to Singapore to attend the WU-TA Advanced Transfer Pricing Programme 2026, organised by the WU Transfer Pricing Center and the Tax Academy of Singapore from 28 September to 1 October 2026.
On this occasion, the training programme being attended is entitled Integrated IP, Valuation & Tax (IIVT): A Strategic Toolkit for Decision-Makers and will take place from 5 to 7 October 2026.
Senior Manager of DDTC Consulting, Muhammad Putrawal Utama, has arrived in Singapore to attend the full 3-day programme. Putrawal is 1 of 3 DDTC professionals sent to participate in IIVT.
On the first day, Putrawal will attend the IP Strategy & Value Creation module. Through this module, participants will study various aspects of intellectual property (IP) strategy and value creation.
Subsequently, Putrawal will attend the Valuing Intangibles for Strategic Decisions module on the second day. On the final day, he will delve into the Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Cross-Border Risk Management module.
In addition to Putrawal, 2 other DDTC professionals are scheduled to attend the programme, namely Senior Manager of DDTC Consulting Khisi Armaya Dhora and Manager of DDTC Consulting Wulan Clara Kartini.
Khisi and Wulan will attend only the third module on Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Cross-Border Risk Management. Accordingly, Khisi and Wulan are scheduled to participate in IIVT for 1 day.
The participation of these three professionals forms part of the Human Resource Development Programme (HRDP), which DDTC consistently carries out. All costs for attending the programme are borne by DDTC with no service bond required.
The HRDP is a concrete expression of one of DDTC's missions, namely investing in human resources. This mission is also aligned with DDTC's vision of becoming a tax institution grounded in research, technology and knowledge that sets the standards and beyond.
Each year, DDTC provides its professionals with opportunities to participate in various competency development programmes, both domestically and overseas. Such support is provided through, among others, professional training and full scholarships to pursue postgraduate education at leading universities worldwide.
DDTC Founder Darussalam, one of Indonesia's tax experts who is frequently cited as a reference by various parties, stated that DDTC consistently provides its professionals with opportunities to enhance their competencies through a range of education and training programmes, both domestically and overseas.
He noted that the participation of DDTC professionals in these various programmes is expected to broaden their perspectives whilst strengthening their competencies to keep pace with developments in knowledge and tax practice at the global level. (rig)
