JAKARTA, DDTCNews — DDTC is committed to continually strengthening its collaboration with the Tax Academy of Singapore.

DDTC Co-Founder Danny Septriadi said that deeper collaboration between DDTC and the Tax Academy of Singapore is very much possible, given that both organisations share an aligned vision.

"DDTC and the Tax Academy of Singapore have an aligned and complementary vision. For that reason, the potential for strengthening collaboration between the two institutions is wide open," said Danny at a meeting with Tax Academy of Singapore CEO, Dennis Lui, on the sidelines of the Professional Service (PS) Centre Jakarta launch, Friday (4/9/2026).

From the outset, DDTC has held a vision of being a tax institution grounded in research, technology, and knowledge that sets high and sustainable standards — a vision that was established 19 years ago.

To realise that vision, DDTC plays an active role in eliminating information asymmetry within Indonesia's tax community and developing human resources through continuous education.

The Tax Academy of Singapore, as a non-profit institution established by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), international firms and professional associations, holds a vision of enhancing the competence of the tax community and strengthening its position as a regional tax knowledge centre.

There are three targets the Tax Academy of Singapore aims to achieve in realising that vision. First, to become a centre of excellence for tax education and a regional tax knowledge hub by offering a structured tax training roadmap for tax professionals.

Second, to become a driver of thought leadership on tax issues by supporting research that is relevant to international tax policy and practice.

Third, to serve as a platform for tax knowledge exchange by creating opportunities for tax professionals to keep abreast of global tax trends through seminars.

"We strive to position ourselves as a regional hub and a venue for the world's leading academics to discuss research and to raise the standard of the ASEAN region as a whole," said Lui at a public lecture hosted by FIA UI yesterday. During the meeting with Danny, Dennis also pledged to reschedule his visit to Jakarta promptly in order to discuss further matters with DDTC.

"I very much hope that Mr Dennis can meet with Mr Darussalam soon to discuss more strategic collaboration opportunities. Mr Darussalam has a deep interest in tax education and literacy. Moreover, he was once my lecturer," said Danny.

Both DDTC Founders, Darussalam and Danny Septriadi, have long entrusted the professional development of the DDTC team to various training programmes at the Tax Academy of Singapore.

The Tax Academy of Singapore recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. As a strategic partner, DDTC accepted the invitation to the celebration. DDTC was represented by DDTC Consulting Managing Partner David Hamzah Damian. See DDTC Strengthens Collaboration at Tax Academy of Singapore's 20th Anniversary (dik)
