Verification in Just 4 Days: Taxpayers Urged to Appeal via e-Tax Court
JAKARTA, DDTCNews - The Secretariat of the Tax Court is encouraging taxpayers and legal representatives to file appeals and lawsuits through the e-tax court, rather than manually via post.
At a public consultation forum held by the Tax Court Secretariat, the Head of the Tax Dispute Administration Subdivision of the Tax Court Secretariat, Rizki Nurul Utami, said that one of the benefits offered by the e-tax court is the acceleration of the file verification process.
"The manual verification process of lawsuit or appeal files takes approximately 7 days, whereas online it takes only 4 days. So within those 4 days, we can carry out verification and notify parties of any required corrections," she said on Thursday (24/9/2026).
Where documents are missing or matters require correction, the e-tax court will send a notification to the account of the appeal or lawsuit applicant. The applicant will be asked to make corrections within 1 times 24 hours.
Rizki reminded those filing appeals or lawsuits not to submit a new application where a notification has been received indicating that an error exists.
"If there is a notification that there is an error or something has been missed, please do not resubmit. Do not submit a duplicate, as the e-tax court will subsequently notify you that a duplicate submission has been made," said Rizki.
Beyond accelerating verification, the e-tax court also enables appeal or lawsuit applicants to monitor the stages of dispute resolution electronically through their own account.
In order for a taxpayer to file an appeal or lawsuit via the e-tax court, the taxpayer must first create an account through the following link.
Taxpayers who have questions or require assistance regarding the use of the e-tax court may visit Counter A at the Tax Court. Counter A now provides administrative assistance services only. (rig)
