DDTCNews Launches English News Channel for Global Readers
JAKARTA, DDTCNews – In tandem with its one-decade milestone, DDTCNews has officially launched the English News channel today, Monday (22/6/2026). The channel presents developments in Indonesian taxation in English.
The launch of English News was inspired by the need and request for up-to-date and reliable information on Indonesia's taxation sector in a more globally accessible language.
This situation is frequently encountered by DDTC professionals when interacting with global stakeholders, such as professionals from multinational enterprises, representatives of international institutions or organisations, academics from other countries and so forth.
Accordingly, the presence of English News is expected to serve as a strategic measure in broadening access to Indonesian tax information for international readers, ranging from investors and multinational entrepreneurs to academics, tax consultants and policymakers across the globe.
This is particularly pertinent amid increasing cross-border investment flows, the digitalisation of the economy and various international tax reform agendas, all of which heighten the demand for credible and readily accessible information for the global community.
DDTC recognises that English, as the lingua franca of international business, enables practitioners to communicate, present issues and negotiate solutions sans language barriers. This is equally important for Indonesians wishing to operate across borders.
Through this channel, DDTCNews will publish a minimum of 5 English-language articles each day. These articles will cover tax news of public interest, policy and regulatory developments and matters pertaining to the Indonesian economy.
In addition, English News will also feature perspective and opinion articles offering in-depth analysis of taxation issues in Indonesia. These include insights and research from DDTC professionals in the development of tax knowledge and practice.

On another note, prior to the release of English News on the DDTCNews website, DDTC had already published several bilingual publications. One that has been released annually on a regular basis is the DDTC Indonesian Tax Manual.
Most recently, DDTC has also released the Consolidation in a Single Text of the General Provisions and Tax Procedures, Income Tax and the Value Added Tax Law Pursuant to Law 6/2023, with Adjustments to the Criminal Provisions under the GTP Law Pursuant to Law 1/2026. This consolidation has been released in both Indonesian and English versions.
Other books published by DDTC in English include Tax Terminology: English–Indonesian (2025), Minister of Finance Regulation Number 81 of 2024 (2024) and Guidelines for Tax Incentives in Indonesia 2024/2025 (2024).
Further titles include DDTC Indonesian Transfer Pricing Manual (2024), English for Tax Professionals (2023) and Basic Guidelines for Tax Procedures (2022). To date, DDTC has published 43 books in total, representing a tangible expression of its commitment to sharing knowledge.
In the same spirit of sharing knowledge, DDTC also actively contributes to various international tax discourses. This is reflected in the involvement of DDTC professionals as authors and contributors to dozens of international publications.
Most recently, DDTC professionals contributed to Lexology In-Depth: Transfer Pricing Edition 10 and Lexology In-Depth: Tax Dispute and Litigation Edition 14. Lexology is a global legal intelligence platform based in London, United Kingdom.
The arrival of English News will thus enable Indonesian tax information to be delivered more swiftly by leveraging the DDTCNews website platform. In addition to the launch of this channel, a range of activities has been prepared for the one-decade anniversary celebration of DDTCNews through to the end of this year. (rig)
